The Birthplace of Faith & Grace- 8/17/2024

Justice and love are both true of who God is, but love is His most prevailing trait. Above all else, He loves. It is the very reason we exist. It's the reason He gave us freedom, and it's the reason He made the ultimate sacrifice to rescue us from the misuse of that freedom. God defines what is good and evil, right and wrong, beautiful and ugly, and He never changes.

This passage shows us that God did not violate His own justice to save us. He is able to give the gift of righteousness to those who have faith, not because He doesn't care about our sins, but because Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. The cruel demand of justice, which shows no mercy, has been met. Today, as we look into God's heart, we will see some harsh realities and a depth of love beyond our comprehension. The birthplace of faith and grace is justification through Jesus Christ.
