The Hope Equation -9/8/2024

As we read and study the Bible, we see God at work in the lives of those who have recorded these amazing stories. We also are being formed as our spiritual reality is informed. We see the truth of God displayed by those who have gone before us, and we are challenged to evaluate our own lives because of their examples. We see a common equation in their lives: Perseverance + Character = Hope. In this passage, Paul so eloquently expresses our need to persevere through our trials and tribulations so that our character may be formed, and we may receive the Hope promised to us, which is only found in God.
