Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord,
implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called
Ephesians 4:1
The season of being a young adult is a critical point in a person’s life. We’re learning to be truly independent, start a career, discovering who we really are as people, etc. Sometimes, we land in the right spot and get planted in good soil where we can grow closer to Jesus and lay a solid foundation in the Word of God. Other times, it becomes really easy to get lost in all of the mixed messages and ideologies of our modern world, and we begin chasing after rotten things disguised as fool's gold.
And the biggest trap? Trying to figure it out by ourselves.
As a Young Adult ministry, our heart is to embody what Paul speaks of in Ephesians chapter 4. We want to make every effort to come together in unity through the Holy Spirit, learn to discern the teachings of the world, and to build each other up to become more like Christ.
All are welcome here, and we want give the Young Adults in Seattle a place to have a family. No matter our past, no matter our current situations, we all need a healthy, loving community.
