Proof of the Resurrection- 01/04/2026

Imagine standing in the busy streets of Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, just weeks after the crucifixion of Jesus. A crowd gathers, drawn by the sound of Galileans speaking in languages from across the known world. Peter, once a fisherman who denied his Lord, now stands boldly before thousands. He quotes the prophet Joel to explain the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, ending with these powerful words: "And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Ac. 2:21). But Peter knows the name they must call upon is Jesus, a name many in the crowd rejected because of His shameful death on the cross. They believed the Messiah would be a conquering warrior, not one executed like a criminal. So, Peter sets out to remove that barrier, using Scripture to prove that Jesus' death, resurrection, and ascension were prophesied all along.
