Customized Care- 1/22/2023

John chapter eleven takes us to a front-row seat of grief. Lazarus has died. As a result, his sisters Martha, Mary, and many others in the community are in great despair as they wrestle with this loss. Last week we were challenged, along with Martha, to believe that Jesus could take our dead stinky things and resurrect them. Martha received the care she needed from Jesus as He created an opportunity for her to respond to the question, "Do you believe?" (vs.17-27). As we enter verse 28, we begin to see how Jesus cares for Mary in a completely different way. Jesus specializes in individual care. He customizes according to our needs. A customized message from God will cause us to rise up and see beyond our current circumstances.
