Learning to Celebrate- 04/05/2026

Holy Week rightly calls us to solemn reflection. We remember the betrayal, the scourging, the nails, the darkness, and the cry, “My God, why have you forsaken me?” We stand at the foot of the cross and feel the weight of our sin and the enormity of Christ’s sacrifice. That grief is sacred and necessary because without the cross, there is no resurrection.
Yet the story does not end on Friday. The tomb is empty. Christ is risen! And the resurrection invites us into something many people struggle with: celebration. Not shallow, forced happiness, but deep, grateful, God-glorifying joy. Today, we explore why learning to celebrate is not optional for the follower of Jesus; it is a godly attribute we must cultivate.
